Initial stages for reform and opening up in China are hardest time for most private company. In order to find new customers, our manager purchased ship ticket to Shenzhen city. The ship was adrift on the sea for three days and nights. Luckily, when our manager got land, someone called him. He is new customer from Taiwan and he is distributor on local. The distributor asked for a lower price because they need to make their own profit on each one. Our manager told him, we may not be as big as some manufacturers, but that means you get all the same quality and support without the extra cost. Finally, they made deals. Now ,they are still good friends with good relationship nearly 30 years. They are from different culture and developed different sets of friends , but they encouraged each other in these friendshio.
